I'm Anna Jankovič

I'm a Slovak artist living and painting in Brno, Czech Republic.

Alongside painting, I work as a psychologist — with the mind, with emotions, with people's inner worlds. After days spent in that space, my body and mind call me to work with my hands: to create something, to bring colour to life on the canvas.

I paint what resonates with me — with my heart and my emotions. That has grown especially personal since I became a mother. My current collection, I, Mother, Woman, holds everything motherhood opened in me: the tenderness and the tiredness, losing myself and finding something deeper. The paintings you see here are the ones that called to me and awakened a passion I never expected 😊

Because before I started painting at the end of 2018, I honestly thought I couldn't. Really. I knew how to draw, and I made a picture here and there… but I had no idea what a great passion painting would become in my life.
