"Joy will guide you" began as a painting for my son — a quiet reminder to always follow his own path.
The deep prussian green holds all the unknown that lies ahead of him, while bursts of cadmium yellow and warm ochre are the moments of pure delight waiting to be found along the way. Drops of gold catch the light like little gleams of happiness, calling him forward.
This painting is about trusting joy — letting it lead. And that is a wish that belongs not only to him: may we all follow what quietly delights us.
