I painted this piece, “Patience of the Mother Earth,” wanting to capture that grounding presence, that deep, quiet knowing of our planet.

The soft, warm browns I used aren’t just colors; they are the embrace, the comfort of soil beneath bare feet, while glimmers of iridescent white represent the resilience of new growth pushing through. Layering these pigments, I thought of roots reaching, holding steady through time, offering solace.

I hope that this work shares a sense of gentle steadfastness, a soft hum of peace, with whoever lives with it.
