Soft womb

When I painted “Soft Womb,” I was preparing for motherhood, creating a sacred space for the life unfolding within me. The pervasive pinks of the canvas speak to this nurturing, protective presence, a soft womb guarding the promise of growth and emergence.

I tried to capture that sense of quiet anticipation, that gentle embrace. I hope this tender pink may also quietly hold and comfort others as they too make space for what is to come.
